Luke 19 tells the story of when Jesus rode into town on a Donkey. The crowd celebrated with Joy and singing and declaring; “Hosannah, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” The crowd we’re experiencing Joy at their coming King. Yet Jesus has a greater Joy than that of the crowd. A joy that He wants to share with all creation. Won’t you receive that Joy through faith in Jesus. I pray that you will.

A tale of two cities is an investigation into Gods history of the world. Looking at various passages from the book of Revelation we see how Gods Holy City seen in the story of Jerusalem is rivalled by another city Babylon. This is a battle between light and darkness, but how does our God lead us into the battle?

The above picture was painted by Martyn Price in response to last weeks sermon “A Tale of two cities.” This sermon was in response from a challenge from God to preach from the image. We also shared what it said to one another and prayed into these things.
100 years since World War One ended. Today’s sermon looks at the life of a vicar who went to the front line to minister to the troops in France. He went over the top with them to help and minister to the injured and dying. He did this convinced of the call to be where the people were. Just as Jesus shared of the shepherded who left the 99 to go after the one. So this Vicar went and so must we. Passage used Luke 15. 11th November 2018 am sermon. All quotes are taken from Brants book on the vicar known as Woodbine Willie.

What kind of God and so what?
A statement that provides a tool to face the hard questions of life. In this situation my God is still................, therefore in light of His perfect nature and unchanging love how should I respond to a given situation?
